As the title says... I'm interested in the OSR and trying to get around the image many of its most strident proponents seem to project... so wondering if anyone knows of any examples of streams where PoC play/discuss OSR systems?
I’ve recently discovered Chaoclypse but I might be a little biased. He drew my avatar when we chatted in discord.

Spending about 5 minutes on youtube using search words like "OSR" "Interview" "RPG" "Games" unearthed these channels. I don't actively watch these but am aware of the third, as I've seen comments from them in other spaces.

GMS Magazine

A large library of videos; their subscriber total is in the middle, but have produced a lot of content (reviews, unbookings, podcast style interviews). Covers a wide swath of rpg topics.

Legends & Dice Cafe

Reviews and discusses table top rpgs (OSR style games as well as present day D&D) with a focus on newer players who are checking things out; some variety content as well.

Chaoclypse

More on the creator/developer side. Recent content consists of (actual) solo play of indie ttrpgs, art, as well as design. Has the largest number of subscribers of the three.

does all kinds of rpgs but has done OSR games too.
I was just about to bring this one up. 😁 I really like the way this channel digs into a game over three episodes: overview, character making, and then a stream.

Mod Note:

The title is a bit clickbaity, and I have to say some of his assertions are presented as if they were evidence of the views & experiences of a majority of gamers. He also uses some problematic catchphrases.

And part of that is his ulterior motive of “WotC bad; buy my stuff instead.”

I just say that as a POC who gamed old school before there was a revival, his views & experiences are not as universal as presented; not as cut & dried.

I‘ll suggest that, going forward, anyone posting a vid with a clickbaity title should probably give a brief synopsis as to WHY other discussion participants watch it. Because titles like that don’t lend themselves to generating constructive discussion. The title is his fault; posting it here with or without context is your responsibility.

I had no intention of watching the video, but appreciate the synopsis you posted and your comments. (which reinforced more strongly that it was wisdom not to waste time watching it in the first place anyways).

I personally do not. I am a PoC and I suppose one could say I play OSR systems/games to a small degree (well, I have opinions of some of them, at least. In general I actually choose to play the originals most of the time such as OD&D, AD&D and BX/BECMI [my own combination of them for the most part] rather than the OSR copies, but I also play C&C [if one considers that OSR] as one of my semi-regular groups.

Ironically, recently, while the D&D games have a majority (if not entirely) of PoC people playing, my C&C group more recently is mostly a bunch of non-PoC individuals (though we have girls and boys both playing in it).

I think it may be harder for PoC groups to get streams going which attract many RPG people to watch, even with mainstream (which would make OSR even harder to attract viewers unless one was doing it more as a matter of love rather than any thought they'd ever make a profit), but then, I could also be outdated (old person who doesn't watch gaming streams all that much) and out of touch. The main groups I've seen talked about online and even locally are all a bunch of non-PoC.

Of the links posted above, they do not seem to be ones where they play OSR games from what I cxould see, but they do seem to discuss and review various games and other items. Legends & Dice seem to be more PoC oriented of the streams, though Chaoclypse appears to be from an Asian slant (and the individual may be in Singapore? Or that's a hint I get from browsing their videos).

I don't know of any that are strictly OSR that review or simply stream their games (but as I said above, I'm also not really into watching people stream their games and such...as old person...outdated...seems to fit me in this category).
