Morgan's Eye saw the messenger enter the Constable's Office (which also served as the town's jail). Soon after, the constable, Sherlen Miller, came out with a grim expression on her face, followed by a member of the militia, who began to ring a hand-bell that was soon repeated throughout the city, calling for anyone on a current militia rotation to gather at the drill field.

The eye moves in and looks at the desk to see if the message is there.

Sure enough, Sherlen Miller had left the order on her desk, with the duke's seal broken. It read in a hastily scrawled hand:

Constable,

You are hereby ordered to seal all gates and treble their guard. Regular patrols of no less than six must patrol each street, paying most attention to Hill Road. A dozen must be ordered to patrol from the main gate to Tyndall's Bridge and return at regular intervals. They are to stop and search all persons unknown to them. Arrest anyone who fails to comply, or anyone who is found in possession of suspicious items, in particular those of a magical nature.

Morgan looked up, his eyes finally coming into focus on what was going around him. Everyone was leaving and he wasn't sure to where to go but he saw Master Delphin and joins him.

"Delphin, the guard has been alerted to look out for strangers with magic. I'm worried they might give you a hard time. Maybe we should just see if Sir Darphin will take us in now."

All the while, Morgan was slowly having the magical eye make it's way to the Lord's tower.

OOC:

Will hang with Delphin until the appointed time and have the eye make it's way to the Duke. It lasts an hour. Since Morgan knows what the meeting was supposed to be about...is he in possession of suspicious magical items?

Vairar is getting suspicious. He talks to the elf nobles: "They won't like the elves if they are looking for magic users. You are known here, it shouldn't be a problem. But...it would be prudent to return to your house."
