A Formic Worker from Ender's Game. Though it's not a taur like the Formians in D&D, I could see the Formians' upper half looking like this fella.

Agreed. I would also love to see an expansion of the Aasimar species where some of them are the descendants of Guardinals, Archons and the Celestial Eladrin.
Any chance you have read or looked at the Pathfinder 1st edition book, Blood of Angels? Though this book was designed with PF1's Golarion setting, it has some very interesting lore on the Aasimar. It also six distinct Aasimar heritages in it.
*Agathion-Blooded (Idyllkin)- the Agathion--> Guardinals
*Angel-Blooded (Angelkin)
*Archon-Blooded (Lawbringers)
*Azata-Blooded (Musetouched)- the Azata- Celestial Eladrin
*Garuda-Blooded (Plumekith)

I do not have that book, but that sounds so cool!! As a big fan of Celestials, I'll definitely have to check it out! Thanks for the heads up!!

You're welcome. My favorite Aasimar heritage in Blood of Angels are the Idyllkin Aasimar. My favorite Agathion, the Draconal. They sort of look like a winged Dragonborn in PF2.
