On D&D Beyond, there is a species that bears a slight resemblance to the Nehwon Ghouls. The Geleton from The Griffon's Saddlebag: Book Two.
Geletons are the living, symbiotic fusion of two semiconscious life forms: Oozes and reanimated skeletons.

I'm really showing how much I love 2e Planescape, but I'd love to see more planar outsiders, especially Celestials, return! They brought back 3 guardinals and 3 archons, but there's the remaining members of those classes, and also the Celestial Eladrin, who I would love to see in 5e in an official capacity at some point. I'm honestly baffled they didn't make it in the 5e Planescape set.
