The flaming skeletonHave we heard if there is more than one skeleton? I always liked having at least upgrades for Giant Skeletons
[Edit: Yes he says "we have another type of skeleton"]

That was my guess tooI would say Juju Zombie but I don't feel like WotC would include those these days.
Ah yeah flaming skeletons. I've used them before. I was hoping for rules on upgrading a skeleton based on creature size it was from. A kobold skeleton should be a lower CR threat than a storm giant skeleton. The flaming skeleton
The preview had several types of skeletons (4 IIRC).Have we heard if there is more than one skeleton? I always liked having at least upgrades for Giant Skeletons

yeah after listening to the whole video, I think I'd have preferred a return to Templates as a means of creating creatures of different CRs and ability variants, rather than have creature groups with set variants.Ah yeah flaming skeletons. I prefer independent stat blocks better than templates, but best is to have both!yeah after listening to the whole video, I think I'd have preferred a return to Templates as a means of creating creatures of different CRs and ability variants, rather than have creature groups with set variants.
eg Swarm of ghouls is needed too
I also wonder if the Haunting Revenant could be used to recreate Duskmourne
agreed, especially for online play.I prefer independent stat blocks better than templates, but best is to have both!
I'm not really sure who they were trying to placate. When I first heard it, I just kind of assumed they were trying to placate the crowd who hated always evil humanoids, but your interpretation makes just as much sense. But so long as we all agree gnolls are fiends and are always evil, I think we're all happy. They also mentioned fiends in the same breath, so here’s my government-mandated grumbling about gnolls. But more to the point, I find it fascinating that they’re putting that front and center as a selling point of undead. I wonder if they’re trying to reassure folks who are unhappy about humanoid monsters no longer coming in always-evil.
we should have an Ogre skeleton, extrapolate from there for your GiantAh yeah flaming skeletons. I've used them before. I was hoping for rules on upgrading a skeleton based on creature size it was from. A kobold skeleton should be a lower CR threat than a storm giant skeleton.
recently stumbled across someone doing MtG settings, you can find Duskmourn there, maybe it is of interestI also wonder if the Haunting Revenant could be used to recreate Duskmourne
