Agreed. I was 13 when the TV series appeared, and have no nostalgia for it at all. It was nonsensical from the beginning, and never rose above that.

Gives me hope that Airwolf the RPG or Iron Eagles the RPG might someday come out.

My guess is that this is a labor of love for someone at Mophidius. I don't imagine they think this is going to be a top-selling game, just something that want to exist. I can't imagine the rights are expensive, so covering costs should be easier.

The fact the shop is called Gerry Anderson implies they might have more licenses coming along with Space:1999.

To be honest Space:1999 has a lot nostalgia for me so I might pick it up, but there are other Gerry Anderson I would prefer.

You know what? This feels like IP fishing. I don't know how else to refer to it. Get an old media, get a license deal, and produce a small run to see how it does.

I liked the show when I was a kid. It has not aged well. That being I said, I still love the look of the Eagles and their versatility. Gerry Anderson made lots of shows with great miniatures, but the Eagles are my favorite.

I don't see what there is about this to be cynical. Someone got the rights and made a game. That's supposed to be a good thing!
