D&D (2024) Breaking down regions of Faerun by themes

I just thought this would be interesting in antipation of the FR books, where they said they referred to the setting as a region of regions or something along those lines.

So like Old Empires Region (which in 5e is a mix of pre 4e Old Kingdoms region and he's Empires of the Ambalar Sea region nations).

Themes are God ruled nations, divine magic in much greater abundance, ancient Empires, connections to other worlds (Earth & Abeir), Planar races far more common (Tieflings, Aasimar, Genasi), very Mediterranean, Dragonborn homeland.

Includes Chessenta, Mulorand, Unther, Okoth, Tymanther, what remains of High Imaskar & Deep Imaskar, Akanul. Maybe
Murghôm and Semphar as well depending on what they do with those nations.

Other regions include Western Heartlands (Evereska, Najara, Elturgard, Baldur's Gate, Waterdeep, Neverwinter), Eastern Heartlands (Cormyr, Cormanther, Sembia, Dalelands, Dragoncoast, Nathan, Moonsea city states, Vasperin), Unapproachable East (Impiltur, Aglarond, Thay, Narfell, Rashemen, the Great Dake, Akanoble), Lands of Intrigue (Amn, Calimshan, Muranndin, Erlkazar, Velen and Tethyr), Lake of Steam/Border Kindoms Region, Cold Lands (Damara, Vaasa, Sossal, Great Glacier, and some may include Narfall), Eastern Shar, the Shaar, Shining South (Dambrath, Durpar, Halruaa, Estagund, LuirenUlgarth), Utter East (5 Kingdoms), Taan/Hordelands (Yaïmmunahar, Khazari), Inner Sea, Moonshae Isles. I will cover these other regions themes in later posts.

Don't really have a name fir the region that includes Turmish for example.
